Top Sealing Dampers
A damper that is no longer working properly on a masonry fireplace
can be replace with a more economical Top-Seal Damper. The Top-Seal Damper is installed at the top
of the fireplace flue with a rubber gasket eliminating heat and
air conditioning loss up your chimney. A cable is dropped down
the flue and attached to a handle, which can be mounted where
you can reach it for easy opening and closing of the damper system.
The Top-Seal Damper works as a chimney cap when closed, sealing
out rain and preventing the entry of critters down the chimney
flue. The Top-Seal Damper is made of cast aluminum and stainless
steel and has a limited manufacturers lifetime warranty.
